"ATLANTIC CITY!!" Kyle shouted in the limo. Hunter found a spot between the two of them Will sitting against the left side and Kyle against the right. "Dude, this is going to be so much fun." Hunter laughed a little and looked up when Will passed him a beer. He opened it and took a swig, grimacing at the taste.
"How is it that I've gotten drunk twice, but I've never had beer?" Hunter said, cringing a little. "Actually I know why. That's gross." Kyle took the bottle and finished it off in a few quick swigs.
"We'll find something else when we get to the Showboat." Will said with a laugh. It wasn't a long time until they were pulling up to the Showboat Casino. Hunter looked out the window, a little surprised. It had gotten darker outside and it seemed like the city was coming to life before his eyes. "Thank you, Captain." Will said to the driver as he started to get out. Hunter stopped him.
"Alright. Tonight is going to be fun, but if I see a stripper or if I end up carrying one of you because your piss-drunk and you passed out, I am uninviting you guys to the wedding, understand?" Hunter said, firmly looking between the two of them. Kyle sighed a little.
"Marina has been moody lately with the baby coming, man...You're really clipping my wings." Kyle said with a chuckle. "And besides a bachelor party isn't a bachelor party without at least one stripper." Hunter couldn't help, but laugh a little.
"I'm telling Marina." Hunter said as he finally got out. Kyle groaned a little.
"If you do that I'm not going to be alive to be your best man, Hunter. She's had hulk-like strength lately. I keep thinking that the baby is giving her super powers. I mean, she can control fire, she can bend metal, and now she can flip a semi with one hand." The three of them laugh and Hunter put his hands on their shoulder as they walked in.
"Let's not talk about your wife the whole time, eh? Come on, gentlemen. Let's get rich." Hunter said as they entered onto the gaming floor. Hunter heard a police siren and looked for the source.
"Speaking of my wife..." Kyle said with a little laugh as he dug into his pocket and pulled out his phone. "What's up, sweetie?" He said, answering his phone and walking away from Hunter and Will. Will put his hand on Hunter's shoulder.
"Come on, Hunter. I've got two fakes with our names on them. Let's get you drunk." Hunter laughed and followed him to a bar with Kyle following close behind talking on his phone.
"So, how have you and Penny been?" Hunter asked as he walked to the bar and ordered a water. Will rolled his eyes a little.
"Forget the water. I'll have a black velvet and my soon-to-be-married friend here will have a double Captain and Cola." The bartender congratulated Hunter and then went to work on the drinks. Hunter raised an eyebrow.
"Captain and Cola?" Hunter said to Will who laughed a little and nodded.
"You can barely even taste the booze. Don't worry about it." It was a moment later when their drinks came and Hunter stirred his a little and then took a deep breath and drank it all in one gulp, the liquid burning his throat. "I wouldn't have done that..." Will said with a laugh as he took a sip of his drink. "Penny and I are great, man. That weekend really kind of opened things up and it's only gotten better since." Will said, taking another sip. Kyle joined them again at that moment.
"My wife..." He said with a sigh as he ordered a Kamikaze. He waited a moment and then took the shot quickly. "She decided that her diet should consist of the entire hotel room kitchen. Knowing this, I decided to hide away some food and I had to tell her how to find the Pringles." Kyle quickly ran his hand through his hair and ordered another shot.
"Did I hear you were getting married?" Hunter turned away from Will and Kyle and saw a woman looking him in the eye. She had dark hair and fair skin and she was a very attractive girl and that made Hunter worry a little. "When's the big day?" She asked, leaning a little closer and showing off cleavage a mile long. Hunter swallowed a little and drank his new drink.
"Two days from now, actually." Hunter nodded and she put a hand on his leg.
"Well, how about one last hurrah before then?" She said, leaning her face close to his and whispering into his ear. Hunter cleared his throat and took a deep breath, blushing a little. Hunter put his hands on her shoulder.
"I actually really love my fiance, so...No thanks. I appreciate the offer." Hunter nodded and quickly removed his hands from her shoulders. He flashed back to Tiffany kissing him and Arabella walking in on him and the look on her face and how betrayed she looked and how broken she looked and how hurt Hunter felt. He couldn't stand to have that happen again. The woman raised an eyebrow at him then huffed a little and walked off. Hunter turned back to Kyle and Will and cleared his throat. Another drink appeared in front of him and he drank it, squirming a little as he started to feel the beginning of the alcohol kicking in. "Let's gamble." He said, taking a deep breath. Will and Kyle laughed a little and then left the bar, paying their tab and the three of them left, heading toward the games.
A few hours, several hundred dollars, a few more drinks, and some swear words from Kyle later they found themselves at the bar again. Hunter checked his watch. "Guys, it's getting late. I want to be home when Ellie gets home." Hunter said with a nod. He was mostly sober, but he could definitely feel the alcohol. "Mostly, so I can show off the money I won."
"How is it that out of the three of use, you're the best at poker? You're like...a...nun or something or one of those things that doesn't tell lies." Will and Hunter laughed at Kyle and Hunter ordered one more drink, handing the bartender his ID. A few moments later a man tapped him on the shoulder.
"Excuse me, you three are going to have to come with me. Your IDs are fake." The man was joined by three other men in shades
"No. They're real. We're 21." Will said, trying to protest.
"Sir, let's talk in the backroom. Please. Follow us." The man said and Hunter cursed under his breath and the three of them were lead off to the side and down a few hallways. At the end of the hallway was a room and it looked like a typical hotel room. There was a bed and a bathroom and a small kitchen and a sitting area with a large armchair in the middle with chairs off to the side against the wall. "Mr...Reed, is it? Take a seat here. We'll be with you in a moment." Hunter closed his eyes and watched as the men disappeared off one of the hallways.
"PLEASE tell me this is just some prank you guys are pulling." Hunter said, looking from his spot in the chair in the middle at Kyle and Will on each of his sides. The looks on their faces told Hunter that that wasn't the case. "Oh...this is not fair...I'm getting married in two days! This isn't fair!" Hunter shouted down the hallway. "You can't keep us here! This is not a go-" Hunter stopped when he heard the bathroom door open. A maid pushing a cart emerged and when she saw us she let out a little squeak of surprise.
"I'm so sorry! I had no idea you were in here!" She said, walking over and examining them. Hunter took a deep breath. "Now, I can begin." She said, tearing open her uniform and revealing a sexy pair of lingerie. Hunter blushed and started shaking his head as he started to stand. She pushed him back down and climbed onto his lap.
"You guys are so uninvited." Hunter said, looking over at Kyle. "You scared me to death! I thought I was going to get tossed in prison or something!" Kyle and Will laughed.
"No, man. That was just Jerry. I did the landscaping for his brother back in Louisville. Jerry works security here." Hunter turned his face away and tried to hide from the dancing, but it was a little distracting when I felt her bra hit my face. She stood up off him and Hunter ventured a glance to see her shaking her hips in front of him. Hunter looked away again, but heard a scream and looked up. She was covering herself and looking above Hunter. He looked up and saw two monkey-like men holding her bra. Hunter went to grab it, but they ran off.
"Hey!" The 'maid' said, grabbing at it, but the monkeys tripped her then swung the door open and ran off. "That cost me $80!" She said, looking on the brink of tears. Hunter stood up and took off out the door after the monkeys. He drew his bow and fired an arrow, but they dodged it just barely. They dodged around a cart of food and Hunter hurdled it managing to grab the tail of one of them. He pulled it back, causing the other one to follow it and it smacked into the ground, dropping the bra. Hunter grabbed the monkeys by the throat and slammed them against the wall. They shouted and screamed and Hunter finally let them go, quickly grabbing the bra. They shouted at Hunter a moment and then ran off, disappearing among the crowd. Hunter hurried back and walked in to find the 'maid' sitting in a bathrobe. She looked up and smiled when she saw Hunter walk in.
"Here you go. Some...escaped magician props or something." Hunter lied, shooting a glance at Will and Kyle.
"Oh, thank you so much!" She said, running over and hugging him. Hunter blushed and cleared his throat. She finally broke away and kissed him on the cheek. "Is there something I can do to make it up to you?" She said, smiling a little, her hand floating to the belt of her robe. Hunter smiled nervously and shook his head.
"Have a good night." Hunter said, patting her on the arm.
It was about 1:30 in the morning when the limo stopped in front of Hunter's house. Will looked tired, but he was awake. Kyle on the other hand was almost completely out of it.
"What a night..." Hunter said, shaking his head a little. He was tired, but after a night like that he kind of just wanted to curl up in bed with Arabella. "This is what happens when you hire strippers." Hunter said with a laugh. Will laughed and Kyle groaned a little.
"Touche. Well, I need to get some sleep and I need to get Kyle home. We'll talk to you tomorrow, Hunter." Will said, loudly into Kyle's ear.
"Bye, Hunter!" Kyle shouted with a small groan as he covered his eyes with his arm. Hunter laughed and shook his head as he got out and walked back into his house.
"It's good to be home."
